On Wednesday, November 5th , at Montrouge, the ESG and Net Zero team led by Jean-Philippe Laval, organized the annual ESG IBD (International Banks Development) Seminar – a key moment of exchange and collaboration around the Group’s sustainability strategy.

This year’s edition brought together the International Banks – Crédit Agricole Italia, Crédit Agricole Bank Polska S.A., Crédit Agricole Egypt, and Crédit Agricole Ukraine – alongside experts from across the Group who are pioneering the Net Zero trajectory, decarbonation efforts and energy transition through sustainable financing.

Participants had the opportunity to engage in three inspiring one-hour sessions led by Tanguy Claquin (CA-CIB), Carole Vachet (CATE), and Léonard Meier (LCL). Each session offered valuable insights into the Group’s current progress, future ambitions, and shared sustainability goals, creating a space for learning and open dialogue.

A dynamic “Speed-Dating’ session followed, where participants met with eight sustainability experts with various profiles, from both the Sustainability & Impact Teams, as well as the Compliance ones, for focused 15-minute discussions. This interactive format enabled each country to address specific ESG topics – from sustainable finance to biodiversity and reporting – and to better understand how their initiatives connect to the Group’s broader sustainability roadmap.

The seminar once again demonstrated the strength of collaboration across entities and the collective commitment of our teams to accelerate the transition toward a more sustainable and responsible future.
