CAT&E: meeting the challenges of the energy transition and carbon reduction and helping our customers adapt to climate change
Jean-Paul Duhamel, CEO of Crédit Agricole Transitions & Energies, reviews how Crédit Agricole’s local energy supply company aims to meet the challenges of the energy transition and carbon reduction and support our customers.

CAT&E plans to consolidate its position in three priority areas:
  • Financing and investment: expanding in Italy, Germany and Poland and supporting the emergence of new technologies that promote the production and storage of low-carbon energy
  • Personal customers: rolling out the “Mon Energie by CA” and “J’écorénove mon Logement” offerings
  • Business customers: developing an overall approach to meeting energy and carbon reduction needs with the support of R3 and winning new business customers by supplying energy with Selfee
To meet these objectives, CAT&E will be developing new solutions and acting as a business partner to all Group entities.
In brief
In brief
Crédit Agricole Bank Polska celebrated Polish-French Friendship Day on April 20. This date commemorates the transfer of Marie Skłodowska-Curie's remains to the Panthéon. This year also marks the 25th anniversary of the Crédit Agricole Group's presence in Poland. For this dual commemoration, the bank funded the French-language publication of the correspondence between Marie Skłodowska-Curie and Albert Einstein, illustrating the openness and sharing that characterize Franco-Polish relations and the values of Crédit Agricole.

Thanks to the solution developed by LINXO, a subsidiary of CAPS and now a major player in Open Banking, Crédit Agricole customers can see an optimised view of their transactions in the “Ma Banque” app. Presentation has been improved (to include trading name, logo and transaction location) for greater clarity and immediate understanding. This update will significantly reduce calls to the fraud team. The solution is being rolled out gradually over 2026, starting with debit card transactions and direct debits.

Electronic billing: LCL rolls out Kolecto to help entrepreneurs succeed
With less than five months to go before France’s e-invoicing reform comes into effect, LCL has reaffirmed its commitment to entrepreneurs by officially rolling out electronic billing to all small business customers. Following a successful launch in 2025 and a successful nationwide rollout to the Regional Banks, Kolecto has now achieved a new milestone, becoming available to the entire LCL network. An administration fintech affiliated with the Crédit Agricole group and a natural partner to help French microbusinesses and SMEs navigate the digital and regulatory transitions, Kolecto uses an approved platform registered with the DGFiP* to enable business owners and managers to approach this regulatory change with confidence.

This immediately operational solution streamlines day-to-day administrative and financial management, generating time savings of up to five hours a week and allowing businesses to work more closely with their accountants. Available both via the LCL branch network and through the online-only “L by LCL Pro” package, Kolecto exemplifies LCL’s focus on local support and its goal of providing small businesses with practical support to help them navigate transitions.
