| To mark this anniversary, all employees of the Group’s Polish entities gathered on 22 April at a convention held at the Centennial Hall in Wrocław, in the presence of Stéphane Priami, Deputy Managing Director of Crédit Agricole S.A., in charge of International Banking and Services, as well as former executives and members of the Boards of Directors of the Group entities in the country.
Crédit Agricole’s history in Poland began in 2001 with the acquisition of Lukas Bank and the European Leasing Fund. In 2011, Lukas Bank became Crédit Agricole Bank Polska before merging with the CACIB branch in 2013. From a bank specialising in consumer finance, the Group has built a universal retail bank with a solid presence in Poland and links to Europe.
Today, Crédit Agricole Bank Polska (CABP) has 2.4 million customers, of which 1.1 million hold a current account – individuals, businesses and farmers – thanks to more than 350 branches and 12,000 partner points of sale. It is one of the leading banks in Poland’s energy transition, ranking 5th in BANK magazine’s overall ranking in 2025 and 2nd for SLL* loans. It has also been recognised for several years in the “ESG Responsible Management” ranking. CABP is also one of the three banks with the best Net Promoter Score (NPS) in Poland.
The Crédit Agricole Group also has a presence in Poland through the leasing company EFL and its subsidiaries, CA Insurance, Amundi, and the Polish branch of CA Auto Bank. More than 4,600 employees support a total of 3.2 million customers.
The ambitions set out in the ACT 2028 strategic plan are strong in this country, which constitutes a veritable bridge between western and eastern Europe, and the entities present will help to establish Crédit Agricole as the leader in Europe. |
