CA Group entities in Japan to gather in the same building in 2022
Amundi is pleased to announce that Amundi Japan has decided to move their office into the same building currently occupied by CACIB and CA-Life Japan, located in a dynamic and central area of Tokyo named “Shiodome”.
This project is the result of the long local cooperation of the three CA Group entities who continuously explored together the opportunities in the real estate market. As the COVID crisis was reshuffling the cards of the office real estate market in Tokyo, the landlord of the building in Shiodome became interested in having a premium corporate name, such as Credit Agricole, base all its entities in Japan in their building. This lead to fruitful negotiations which made a deal possible.
Thanks to this move, 500+ staff of all CA Group entities in Japan will become reunited in two adjacent floors of the same building, sharing a unique reception as well as various other facilities such as meeting rooms and data center. The moving date for Amundi is expected to take place on July 1, 2022 and Amundi teams are now actively preparing their new office.
Laurent Bertiau, CEO of Amundi Japan, says “This move represents a real opportunity of business development for Amundi. Thanks to the higher standard of the Shiodome building, we expect that this new office will boost our image in the Japanese market as well as the safety and spirit of our teams”.
Antoine Sirgi, Senior Country Officer Credit Agricole Group Japan, says “Thanks to the group approach, we have been able to negotiate good financial conditions which will benefit all of the three entities on the long term. This move demonstrates that our group is stronger when we are working together.”
