Help reduce the environmental footprint of your workstation with CA-GIP
Digital technology is responsible for 3.8% of global CO2 emissions. Terminals* represent 79% of this footprint, the network 5% and data centres 16%. As equipment users, by deciding to adopt eco-friendly habits, we can all do our bit to reduce our day-to-day digital impact.
Crédit Agricole Group Infrastructure Platform (CA-GIP) is committed, as is the entire Crédit Agricole Group, to taking action for the climate and successfully transitioning to a low-carbon economy through a responsible approach to digital technology.
Within this context, the shared IT production house has produced a guide entitled “Le livret des écogestes numériques” [The booklet of eco-friendly habits]. The aim is to equip all Crédit Agricole Group employees with the tools to reduce the environmental footprint of their workstation, by looking after their equipment so as to avoid frequent replacements, limiting the size of work documents and improving their email management.
It was developed internally with workstation, CSR and communication experts, based on institutional literature on the topic. An English version is also available.
CA-GIP is offering this booklet as a joint brand. For this, contact the address cagip_communication@ca-gip.fr
