The Private Equity business line gives you an “appointment”!
The Capital Investissement business line provides Crédit Agricole Group employees with eight educational videos to learn all about its role as a minority investor and how its teams support SMEs and ISEs throughout France.
1. Serving entrepreneurs in the territories
For nearly 40 years, the Crédit Agricole Group has been a key player in minority private equity in France.
As a minority shareholder, its ambition is to support entrepreneurs in our regions in their plans to develop, take over or reorganise their capital. And in addition to providing equity capital, technical and financial expertise, a partnership in the implementation of operations, and a network for networking are offered.
In order to strengthen their synergies and to continuously improve the service provided to companies, the Group entities dedicated to private equity have decided to join forces within the same business line.
Crédit Agricole Group Private Equity brings together seven regional private equity companies (Carvest, C2AD, GSO, Socadif, Sofilaro, Sofipaca, UNEXO) and one national private equity company (IDIA Capital Investissement)*. More than 200 employees invest in and advise local entrepreneurs (mainly SMEs and ISEs) on their growth and development challenges
2. Better understanding minority private equity
The series “Private Equity Meetings” illustrates the collegial approach adopted within this business line. Each of the DGs of the eight entities ‘sponsored’ one of the eight themes presented. This project was also carried out in association with Crédit Agricole S.A.’s Corporate, Regional and Transition division and the ETI Academy**. Crédit Agricole CIB’s StudioEole*** mobilised its entire team for the production component.
Designed and led by operational staff from the Private Equity business line, this series aims to provide the Group’s employees in contact with SMEs and ISEs (investors, corporate account managers, corporate investment bankers, etc.) with quick reference points and insights.
3. Embracing ambitious and accessible content
From April to May, eight videos will be broadcast via the ETI Academy platform but also made available to employees of the entities of the Private Equity business line and its ecosystem. They are reserved exclusively for internal Group operations.
The topics covered are:
- The shareholders' agreement
- The value of companies
- The LBO
- The minority investment scheme
- The build up
- ESG
- Innovation
- Private Debt
We invite you to discover our first two videos and an introduction that recalls the registration of this series in the advisory approach with our corporate clients.
* In addition to these entities, there are the private equity structures of the Regional Banks and the LCL through IDIA Capital Investissement.
** Deployed in 2021 at the same time as the ETI division, the ETI Academy offers content (webinars, videos, podcasts, educational materials) in its shared space accessible by registration to promote the upskilling of Crédit Agricole Group’s ETI experts. It has a community of more than 800 members. To access this platform and be informed of the live sessions of the ETI Academy, contact vincent.gatumel@ca-cib.com
*** The studioEole is fully equipped for the production of live events and videos or podcasts for Crédit Agricole CIB employees but also for other Group entities or external parties (customers, partners, etc.). For more information on its services and prices, contact vincent.fazekas@ca-cib.com
