Matteo Bianchi has been Chief Governance Officer of Crédit Agricole Italia since July 2021.
Biography
Matteo Bianchi trained as a lawyer and after five years' experience in a major legal and commercial firm, he worked in legal and cooperative shareholders' affairs at Banca Commerciale Italiana of Milan and Banca Intesa until 2004. After six years as Head of Legal at Banco Popolare, he joined Crédit Agricole Group in Italy in 2010. He held several positions before being appointed Chief Governance Officer in charge of legal and general affairs, Group human resources and the external relations of Group companies.

Matteo Bianchi is a graduate of the University of Parma and holds a master's degree from Bocconi University in Milan.
