Thierry Bogaty is appointed CEO of IDEAM
Thierry Bogaty has been appointed CEO of IDEAM, Amundi’s business centred on extra-financial analysis, as of 1st March 2011. He reports to Pierre Schereck, who as a member of Amundi’s Executive Committee supervises Employee Savings and Sustainable and Responsible Investment (SRI).
Thierry Bogaty started his career in 1984 as editor then head of the investment department at Le Journal des Finances. The following year he joined Le Nouvel Economiste as editor of the finance and oil sections. Between 1987 and 1994, he worked at l’Express as a lead reporter in charge of economic features, focussing notably on the USA, Russia, Africa and the Middle East. He then joined the press agency Fin & Link as CEO founder. Four years later, he joined l’Entreprise en Solo (Expansion group) where he worked as editor in chief for two years. From 2000 to 2005, he was editor in chief at le Figaro where he was responsible for restructuring the “Tourism, Leisure and Lifestyle” section. He then joined the newspaper Investir (les Echos group) where he worked as editor in chief until 2011.
Born in 1959, Thierry Bogaty holds a master’s degree in management and finance from Paris Dauphine University.
